The Yorkshire Coast Brew Co. was created in 2019 by two men with a passion for real ale. Head brewer Steve Golden is an award winning brewer with 30 years experience of brewing. Having headed the Trough Brewery in Bradford for many years and creating several critically acclaimed CAMRA winning champion beers, Steve has since been the go-to man for problem solving other breweries across the UK. When it comes to perfecting beers and problem solving the mystic art of brewing, Steve is someone even head brewers consult!

Steve says, “We’re making proper beer the way it should be made – the way it used to be made. We don’t use filters, we don’t use modern techniques to make it cheaper or easier to brew – we do it the traditional way and that’s why it tastes and even smells like beer used to. It’s all handmade in small batches so it’s totally unique every time.”
